Task 1 (AO2) 500 words (10 marks)
Choose two front covers of comics. Analyse how they use the conventions of comics and how they appeal to their audience.


Task 2 (AO3) (5 marks)
Design and produce the front cover of a new comic. You also need to explain your use of media language in your comic and how it will appeal to your target audience. This could either be as a mini essay or an annotated analysis.

Title: Understanding Film Promotion

Task 1 (AO2) 1000 words (20 marks)
Take one film, compare and evaluate the effectiveness of both the trailer and the poster as a means of promoting the film.

Task 2 (AO3) (10 marks)
 a) Design a film poster for a new Romantic Comedy Film.
 b) Write the script for a TV interview promoting your film.

Title: Magazine Production

Task 1 (AO3) (15 marks)
Research and plan for the construction of a new magazine. You must create a total of 12 pages which should include:
- Similar Product Research/Key Concepts research/Proposal/Drafting/design ideas/Photoshoot/Target audience

Task 2 (AO4) (30 marks)
 a) Create the Front Cover, Contents page, and a feature article (at least 2 pages)
 b) Write 800 word evaluation of your magazine
